Will New Seasons of ‘The Great British Baking Show’ be on Netflix in 2022?
Over the years, Netflix US (and Netflix US only) has been home to The Great British Baking Show. Before 2017, this service had all the PBS seasons from the performance and various spin -offs (all of which have now gone sadly) but for the past few years, Netflix has brought exclusive performances. In fact, the US Netflix received a weekly episode in previous years.
So with season 13 of the performance and various spin-offs in the work, will we get more episodes from the main performances and various spin-offs in 2022? The answer refers to yes but we haven’t heard something official.
When will Season 13 / Collection 10 of The Great British Show be on Netflix?
In November 2021, it was announced that the Great British Bake-off will return for season 13 in 2022. There is no release date given but assuming it is similar to previous years, we will get a weekly episode starting around September 2022.
Another big news for this coming season is that the famous and iconic tent moves. According to many sources, iconic tents will move this year.
Will there be a new The Great British Baking Show: Holidays season in 2022 on Netflix?
If the main series returns to Netflix, we also expect a new season from Holiday Specials to also reach Netflix. Netflix is always a year behind when it comes to Christmas special, so in 2022, Netflix will actually receive a special aired in 2021 in the UK. Two episodes are expected to reach Netflix US around November/December 2022. Last year, two special Christmas arrived on December 3.
- One is the Christmas special, featuring stars from It’s a Sin, including Olly Alexander, Nathaniel Curtis, Lydia West, and Shaun Dooley.
- The other is the New Year’s special, which is described as follows “Paul Hollywood, Prue Leith, Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding see in the New Year with 2018 Bake Off runner-up Kim-Joy and fellow baker Jon, and Hermine and Rowan from the 2020 Bake Off bubble”

Junior Baking Show is coming to Netflix for First Time in August 2022
For the first time, Netflix has taken the right to the junior cake performance and has set the release date August 2022. Season 6 (season aired in England in early 2021) will arrive at the US Netflix on August 17, 2022. The most talented young bakers in the UK judge with cakes, biscuits, bread, and others in spin-offs that focus on children from “The Great British Baking Show.”
Representatives for Netflix told us that they could not give any updates at the current event but told us to oversee the post “New on Netflix” Monthly.
In addition, if you wonder why this event has a different title in the United States to England because Pilsbury has a trademark to “bake”.
