WhatsApp’s latest beta gets with the times, adds new Unicode 14 emoji
Everyone likes new emojis, and we are lucky enough to get a new rental. With Unicode 14, it was introduced on Android 12L and iOS 15.4, we got a total of 37 new reactions that would allow us to better express ourselves better in beautiful and confusing languages. Only logical that the largest instant messaging application in the world must also get it, and now whatsApp gives users the opportunity in his latest beta.
Version 2.22.8.8 From the WhatsApp client added Unicode 14 Emoji, including melting faces, lips biting, and more, as seen by Wabetainfo. Many of them are also equipped with their own skin and gender tones, and the release also includes new emoji variants – pregnant, anyone? This is a small update compared to the previous Unicode release (version 13 which added 55 of all new emojis, and the 12 release brought his own 61) but there were at least some emojis here which seemed to be able to enter the facial that was salute or one dashed line.
You could say, whatsapp adds this might be even more important than Android or iOS do it, at least in terms of the number of people they will reach – Emoji on WhatsApp on Android version-agnostics, meaning you have to see it even if you see a longer Android release. They are baked. Given how fragmentation on Android is still a problem with 2022 (most people currently running Android 10), this is highly appreciated, because it will ensure that many people will be able to use it regardless of whether they run the latest Android version or not.
Of course, this is still a beta release, and if what you want is a new emoji, you might want to think about waiting stable. However, if you feel impatient, please and take it from the Google Play Store or download it through the apkmyror.
