Saregama launches first ever keypad phone with pre-loaded songs

In a first, Saregama launched the “Carvaan Mobile”, a keyboard phone that comes with the additional functionality of preloaded songs. No internet will have to play preloaded songs and there will be no advertising break to ensure transparent musical experience. In addition, preloaded songs are classified under artists (like Lata MANGESHKAR, Asha BHOSLE, Kishore Kumar, Mohammed Rafi) and moods (like HAPPY, SAD, etc.).

In addition to the 1,500 preloaded Hindi songs, the Saregama phone comes with features such as wireless FM, a digital camera, an LED torch, outs, multi-language support, voice recording, a recording of Calls, a double SIM card, 8 GB of memory card with 2 GB free space for any collection of personal music, videos or images, and many other features.

The Carvaan Mobile is available in two screen sizes – 2.4 inch and 1.8 inch – at the price of RS 2490 and RS 1 990, respectively. The phone is available in three color variants, namely emerald green, classic black and royal blue. It is currently available in Hindi and Tamil on the retail market and electronic commerce platforms like Saregama.com, Amazon and Flipkart, but Saregama plans to launch the phone in all regional languages.
