For those who are unconscious, Virgin River was given an order to update two seasons after season 3. That means we have known about the fifth season for some time now. Where is season 5 of Virgin River in production?
As we reported at the beginning of the year, shooting at Virgin River Season 5 will begin in March 2022. That is then postponed until July 2022, even though the date is subject to submission and indeed changed. The reason for the delay was unknown, but Alexandra Breckenridge wanted to shoot in the summer, saying that Vancouver was not fun to shoot in winter.
We can confirm that film making has begun in Vancouver, BC, Canada, on July 18, 2022, and is scheduled to last until November 10, 2022. The official Virgin River Series account on Instagram confirmed that production was taking place with the call zoom of a table that was read for the fifth season.
