Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Vs. Mi Band 6: What’s New?
Xiaomi’s Mi Band 7 is the latest model in a very popular fitness tracking line, but what is the difference from Mi Band 6? Xiaomi’s health and fitness portfolio not only includes fitness trackers and smart watches, but also smart scale and treadmill. However, not all of these products were made by Xiaomi himself. Some of them were made by companies under their ecosystems.
Although it is not yet known who the company behind the Mi Band 7, the Mi Band Fitness tracker was previously produced by ZEPP (previously known as Huami), the company was also behind the Amazfit brand. Sometimes, ZEPP uses Xiaomi’s fitness tracking design for its own fitness tracking, such as Amazfit Band 5 which shares a display that is almost identical to the Mi Smart Band 5.
The new Mi Band 7 maintains its predecessor design, using a pill -shaped appearance that is in the polycarbonate container. The colorful rope made of TPU and buckle is an aluminum alloy. Both the Mi Band 7 and Mi Band 6 have a 5 ATM waterproof rank that is not surprising because they are able to track swimming exercises as well. Mi Band 6 is available in six colors while Mi Band 7 comes in 10 color options that include two special camoflage and two reflective options that shine in the dark.
